Tasty Fresh Food Co is an Australian family-owned and operated business that has been operating for over 30 years – much like Coldshield. Specialising in high-quality food products, Tasty Fresh wanted to automate 10 sliding doors in their newly built facility in order to improve efficiency, hygiene and ease of access. Tasty Fresh approached Coldshield for a solution. Recognising the unique requirements of the project, Coldshield developed custom brackets to seamlessly adapt their compact and sleek operators to connect to these doors, transforming them into automatic sliding doors.

Enhanced functionality & hygiene control

The automatic doors were used to enter insulated cold rooms, serving as a vital barrier between the food preparation areas and the refrigerated area. By automating these sliding doors, Tasty Fresh was able to significantly enhance the functionality and productivity of their operations. Coldshield also installed touchless activation units to operate the doors, ensuring maximum hygiene control for entry and exit. The seamless integration of Coldshield’s operators allowed for easy and convenient access while maintaining the necessary insulation and temperature control required in a food preparation environment.

Speed & efficiency

Coldshield also installed a Movidor HS65 high-speed door to a large exterior doorway of the building. This new rapid roll door allowed more efficient access to the building, while ensuring minimal energy loss, leading to cost savings.
